A colleague foundation in a nearby village provides accommodation for single elderly people who were living on the street.
The volunteers of Mi Casa and Ipauratu visit the home three afternoons a week. Games, music and
physical exercise are organised to occupy the elderly and help keep them fit. The foundation also provides materials and help in making jewellery. In this way the elderly have fun whilst being productive.
The bracelets they produce are sold and the income is saved to buy things such as a CD player. Music is one of the things that gives the underprivileged elderly pleasure in their old age.
